Foundation for advancement of International Medical Education and Research

(FAIMER) is a sister organization of the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), USA and has been successfully running faculty development fellowships since 2001.  In June 2005, the Seth GS Medical College was the first to start a regional institute in the world.. The  fourth batch was conducted recently in June 2008, . More than 77 fellows have been participating in this program from all over India. A total of 73 educational development projects have been initiated in more than 26 institutions all over the country and 57 have been completed.
