Foundation for advancement of International Medical Education and Research
(FAIMER) is a sister organization of Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), USA and has been successfully running faculty development fellowships since 2000. Seth GS Medical College was first to start regional institute in the world in June 2005. Third batch was conducted recently in month of June 2007. More than 61 fellows have been participating in this program from all over India . A total of 57 educational development projects have been initiated in more than 20 institutions over the country and 41 have been completed.
