Anaesthesiology
Courses Offered:
The department offers MD (Doctor of medicine) and Diploma (DA) in Anaesthesiology
recognized by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. It also offers clinical
attachments (Observation only) with prior permission from the administration.
Recently we have started CPCR training with certificate offered to successful
candidates. See details below.
PDCC:
Following post doctoral Courses are available viz Cardiac anaersthesia, Neuro
anaesthesia and Paediatric anaesthesia.
Posts: Two per course per
year.
Duration of each Course: one year per course
Fees:
Rs 10000/- per course
Eligibilty: DNB or MD (anaes) from any recognized
university
Selection: By interview
Emergency Duties: For
that specialty only.

CPCR Training Centre: SNAP
Exclusively funded and equipped through various
donations from faculty members, past students and trusts.
Courses are
held every (working Tuesday and Friday only in Non-Vacation Period) with prior
appointment.
Details of batches: Dr Tendolkar- Extn:2200.(10AM-12NOON)
10-12 candidates are trained over a period of 4-5 hours with lectures
and hands-on training in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life
Support).
Fees for training: BLS - Rs 150/- (KEM faculty),
Rs 300/- (Non-KEM faculty).
ACLS - Rs 300/- (KEM faculty), Rs
500/- (Non-KEM faculty)

69 BLS and 58 ACLS courses have been held
till now and more than 1810 candidates (BLS 1010 & ACLS 800) have been trained.
