Anatomy

Courses Offered

The department undertakes the training of first year M.B.,B.S. students in Anatomy and its various sub-divisions and allied fields.

It also undertakes responsibility for training, in Human Anatomy of the students taking the F.Y.B.P.Th. & F.Y.B.O.Th. courses of the Institute of Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy, which is allied to the Seth GS Medical college. It also trains students of the Institute of Nursing.

The Department offers a post-graduate course in Human Anatomy leading to the degree of M.S. (Anatomy) of the University of Mumbai.

Also offered is a post-graduate course in Applied Biology, leading to the degree of M.Sc. of the University of Mumbai.

7. "Workshop on Skull Base Surgery" on November 2004 in collaboration with Skull Base Society of India & Dr. Atul Goel, Prof. & Head, Department of Neurosurgery.

8. "Workshop on Spine Surgery" on November 2004 in collaboration with Dr. Srivastava, Prof. & Head, Department of Orthopedics.
