Department of Anatomy
The department of Anatomy, recognizing its
pivotal role in providing the fundamentals of modern medicine, has been fruitfully
engaged in research and publication - national and international - on cell biology,
genetics, embryology, cancer, death, violence in medical science, anatomic terminology
and the optimal curriculum in undergraduate and post-graduate students of Anatomy.
Its recent pioneering contribution is in the form of a Copernican change in the
nature of bones and joints, a change that revolutionizes not only anatomy but
orthopedics as well. The articles and the books published by the department have
been received well nationally and internationally.
