Activities-
Proposal
to start a fellowship in transfusion Medicine has been submitted to Maharashtra
University of Health Sciences for approval. The duration of the course would be
of I year. It would be conducted in the blood bank of KEMH. This programme is
intended to fulfill the following objectives -
1.
Development of technical and supervisory competencies in red cell serology, blood
component manufacturing and transfusion medicine.
2. Functioning as managers,
educators, researchers or technical consultants.
3. Candidates should be able
to work as part of the health care team in providing health services to patients.
