Other Noninvasive Studies

The other noninvasive studies performed here include Exercise stress testing , Signal averaged ECG recording , 24 Hours holter recording.

The Stress test lab consists of two treadmill systems a Nasan , and the other Siemens Megacart system. There are two technicians and a doctor always present during the tests. There are facilities for emergency care in lieu of a complication during the stress testing.

Annually 3000 stress tests are performed .The procedures are generally uncomplicated.

The signal Averaged ECG is recorded on the Siemens Megacart system and anually 200 such ECG's are recorded. The 24 hours Holter is recorded with 3 mobile recorders. The analysis is done on the state of art Marquette system. On an average 500 holters are analysed every year.
