Environmental Pollution Research Centre Services

This is an independent part of chest department, headed by Dr. A.A. Mahashur, with the Lecturer, registrar, Social Worker and Health Visitor, and technical staff. It conducts health surveys, performs on site pulmonary function tests, analyses Breath Carbon-monoxide levels and Blood COHb monitoring, alongwith a medical evaluation.

It is also undertakes routine medical check up for workers in various Corporation departments, i.e. Chlorine plant workers. It is actively involved with Municipal Corporation and Ministry of Environment (State Govt.) in conducting surveys and giving its observations & recommendation based on collected data.
