Department of Chest Medicine and Environmental Pollution Research Centre ( E.P.R.C )
The
Department of Chest Medicine is located at the Cardio Vascular and Thoracic
Centre. It contributes to the UG and PG teaching programmes of the hospital.
The Department caters to both indoor patients and outpatients and has an Intensive
Respiratory Care Unit. The Special feature of the department is its Environmental
Pollution Research Centre – an independent unit involved with the Corporation
and State Government, that conducts surveys and programmes, and gives recommendations
based on these.
