Dr. P.K. Sen Department of Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgery was established in early sixties. Over the years it has developed into India's premier teaching institute busy performing over 1800 Cardio-Vascular-Thoracic Operations of which more than 800 are "openheart" operations.
