Guidelines for the donor for depositing the Foreign donations in DJST.
DJST is registered with Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, (FCRA) 1976 and our registration number is 083780695
Guidelines for donors:
1. A letter should be addressed to the Dean of the institute stating the purpose for which donation is given (e.g. patient care, medical education, research, student awards etc.)
2.
The draft/cheque should be in the name of Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M.
3. Hospital, Diamond Jubilee Society Trust (Foreign Donation) A/c.
4. On receipt of the draft/ cheque we will send an e-mail/letter of acknowledgement.
5. As per auditor’s instructions, the actual receipt can only be made on realization of cheque /draft.
6. In India realization of cheque in foreign currency takes at least a month.
7. On realization of cheque /draft a receipt will be made and dispatched to you promptly. We will inform you about the posting of receipt.
8. For actual receiving the draft /cheque, it is desirable that the post is sent at the following address-

Bank of Maharashtra has been tied up with ABN Amro Bank. Hence the depositions in any other banks (eg. CITI Bank) can be directed to ABN Amro Bank, which will deliver them to us within
7 days. However, if you want DJST to trace the amount which has been deposited by your sponsor, you need to get from the sponsor all the transaction details including a form MT103, which the foreign bank prepares while transferring the amount.
