Forensic Medicine & Toxicology

Activities:


A. Undergraduate teaching :

1. II MBBS Students - About 400 students (3 terms)

Lectures: In forensic medicine, medical jurisprudence & forensic toxicology - 4 lectures per week for lst and 2nd term students.

Practical: - In forensic medicine, medical jurisprudence & forensic toxicology 4 days in a week. Revision lectures and practical for 3rd term students.

Autopsy Demonstration

Court procedures: for interested students along with teachers.

B. Post graduate teaching

1. M.D.forensic medicine:
The post graduate teaching and training programme for students from J.J and Nair hospitals, consists of Autopsy techniques, Recent advances in Forensic medicine and toxicology, Medicolegal case discussions and Journal clubs.

2. P.G.DHA:
Consists of training intricacies of different medicolegal problems faced in hospital administration.
