The clinic has an attendance of 2500 to 3000 patients (including 393 new cases seen in 1998) every year. Patients are investigated for essential and secondary hypertension, and individualized therapy is provided. Patients are closely monitored for complications. Consultancy services are provided for hypertensive patients referred from various specialty wards and clinics of the hospital.
