Research Projects and Special Achievements of our faculty

Right from inception, the All India Occupational Therapists Association has recognized the school, which is a founder member of the World Federation of Occupational Therapy.

In the year 1996, at this institute, a sensory Integrative Therapy and research clinic has been started which is the first of its kind in India. Various developmental disabilities, including pervasive developmental disorders are being treated in this clinic.

The faculty members have been conducting C.M.E. workshops and publishing scientific papers in the national and international periodicals.

Some of the C.M.E. workshops conducted by the Faculty in and outside the institute are:

• Recent trends in Occupational Therapy.
• Occupational Therapy and mental health
• Neurodevelopmental techniques in the treatment of cerebral palsy.
• An Introduction to Sensory Integration.
• Latest techniques in hand splintting.
• Rehabilitative approaches in hemophilic patients.
• Psychosocial intervention in Occupational therapy, linking theory with practice.
