1. ADVANCED TRAUMA SURGERY

The KEM hospital has comprehensive trauma services available through the emergency medical services. A large number of primary and neglected extremity, pelvic and spinal trauma is treated in the emergency center. Trauma is also operated in a planned manner in the routine theatres. We are equipped with image intensification and good technical and instrumentation support in all the operating rooms. Plastic surgery and vascular surgery departments provide excellent supportive care for the severely injured limb where limb salvage may be necessary. A vascular intervention and angioembolisation facilty is also available within the hospital premises
