7. ORTHOPAEDIC ONCOLOGY INCLUDING LIMB SALVAGE SURGERY

The department treats over 200 cases of orthopaedic neoplasms annually. These include both benign and malignant bone tumours. All types of limb salvage surgery and tumour reconstructive surgery including resection arthroplasty are performed. Patients requiring chemotherapy and radiotherapy are referred to Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital which is across the road.
