2. SPINAL SURGERY INCLUDING DEFORMITY CORRECTION AND CRANIOVERTEBRAL ANOMALIES

The department of orthopaedics is involved in treating all levels of spinal surgery ranging from routine lumbar degenerative disc disease to complex cervical spine and craniovertebral anomalies. The department is also a major referral center for spinal deformity correction. Annually over 500 spinal surgical procedures are performed in the Spine Operation Theatre.
