Pediatrics Residency Programme As the post graduate students of MD / DCH are the resident doctors in this department, their teaching is crucial in patient care and management, as per syllabus of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. Post graduate students are selected for Pediatric Courses from the merit list of Common Entrance Test for PG admissions every year. Student undergo training activities through daily. - Bedside teaching Rounds, - Clinical Review Meetings, - Death Review Meetings, - Pathology Meetings, - Radiology Meetings, - Seminar, - Guest Lectures, - Inter Hospital Clinical Meetings, Clinical Case Discussion - and Mock Practical Examination (click on each to read details). Also, postgraduates are guided in collecting data, analysis, reference work, writing of their thesis. At the end of their course, they metamorphose themselves in qualified pediatricians. Post graduate students rotate their residency through all units, the speciality Clinics, the Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and affiliated hospitals Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital For Children and Sir R.N.Cooper Hospital, Juhu. They are also trained in Pediatric Advanced Life Support Providers course, Neonatal Advanced Life Support Providers course and AIDS care management.
