Pediatrics Pediatric Chest Clinic Pediatric Chest Clinic is headed by Dr Keya R. Lahiri, Professor and Head, Department of Pediatrics, in assistance with Dr. R K Vasvani, associate professor and Dr. Santosh Kondekar, lecturer in pediatrics. The clinic is managed and maintained by a team of pediatricians and residents under her guidance on every Thursday 1.30 pm on the first floor of multistorey building no. 25. Children from all over Mumbai are referred here for expert opinion in difficult childhood respiratory cases, especially cases of asthma, chronic lung disease etc. This clinic has a vast database of asthma patients following up regularly. Treatment of acute attacks and care of asthma children, allergy and medications is taught to patients and relatives, through clinical demonstrations. This clinic also has a facility of estimating pulmonary functions by peak flow meter and PFT by spirometry equipment.
