Dear GSite, The GSMC & KEMH, your twin Alma-Mater, are celebrating the Platinum Jubilee of their illustrious record of services to medical education, medical care and medical advancement. It is an epochal moment that will be celebrated throughout this year, ending on January 22, 2001, the 75th Foundation Day. The Platinum Jubilee of GSMC & KEMH is an occasion to look back, and more than that, to look forwards - to think big, act big, for the greatest good of the greatest number. Several plans and projects to be are to be initiated this year. You will agree that this provides to we all GOSUMECS a glorious opportunity to offer our mite towards the realisation of some of these dreams. Your donations, in rupees or in foreign currency, will be gratefully accepted by the Diamond Jubilee Society Trust and will be used for the specific purpose desired by you. The Diamond Jubilee Society Trust , established to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of GSMC & KEMH, and functioning autonomously, has rendered yeomen services for the past 15 years. As this trust already has the required government sanctions for tax exemption on donations, etc, we will be routing all donations for the Platinum Jubilee through this Trust.
