- Prof.J.S.Kale, from Department of Occupational therapy Awarded the international award of 12,000 US $ for caregiver training in the field of hemophilia-by BAYER pharmaceuticals – (California USA.) –07.
- Dr. A. S. Balirsing (AP), from Department of Plastic Surgery was awarded best poster award at the World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery meeting for the study: Sensory restoration of the skin graft on a free muscle flap: Clinical study.
- Anoop Dhamangaonkar of Final MBBS, has been awarded “Young Voices in Research for Health -2007” by the Global Forum for Health Research and the Lancet.
- RAHUL SALVI, 3 RD MBBS Student won first prize at an International conference for junior doctors and medical students in Poland , May 2007 where he presented his work “Study of extent of Off label use of drugs in Obstetrics in a Tertiary care hospital” under the joint supervision of Dr. AR Chauhan and Dr. NJ Gogtay, Clinical Pharmacology.
- First prize in the oral presentation category at the International Conference on “Contemporary issues and future challenges in drug development”, 5-7 Oct 2007, Mumbai, India. Organized by the South Asian chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology in collaboration with the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, India. (Title of paper- Evaluation of the prevalence and economic burden of adverse drug reactions presenting to the medical department of the Emergency Services of a tertiary referral centre.Authors- Kedia MS, Patel KJ, Bajpai D, Mehta SS, Kshirsagar NA, Gogtay NJ). The study was done in collaboration with the Division of Emergency Medical Services.
