Institutional Animal Ethics Committee<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) of Seth GS Medical College and KEM hospital was established in 1997. The IAEC of Seth GS Medical College and KEM hospital is registered with the Committee for Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CCSEA) <\/strong>( previously known as Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals-CPCSEA ) since 1999 for the purpose of \u201cBreeding and Research on animals\u201d.<\/p>\n

The committee functions according to the guidelines laid down by the CCSEA<\/strong>. The Institutional Animal House Facility was last inspected by the CCSEA members on 22nd<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0 November 2022.<\/p>\n

The Institutional Animal Ethics Committee has been renewed\u00a0 on 07\/10\/2022 valid till 06\/10\/2027.<\/p>\n
